The Management Committee are responsible for ensuring that the Governance of the club meets the guidelines set by Swim England (A.S.A.) and oversees the work of the swimming and water polo sections and any sub-groups appointed by the committee.
As a member of Swim England (ASA), Tyldesley Swimming & Water Polo Club are guided by their “Wavepower” document which provides direction on swimmer welfare.
As a Club we have to maintain a huge and ever changing range of policies and procedures to meet legislation and most importantly to protect the people in our care during lessons, matches, galas, social events and training.
We work very hard to ensure all guidelines are followed and implemented and are proud to provide a safe and friendly environment for everybody involved with the club.
There are also responsibilities for parents, visitors and members of the public that must be followed so we can maintain these levels of safety at all times and so it is important that our guidelines are implemented by everybody.
The different Policies can be viewed individually below. The policies were last updated June 2020, any questions relating to these should be directed to our Membership Secretary
