Austin Lawley

Coach & Men’s Team Captain

I joined TSWPC at the age of 8, initially to learn what is a vital life skill before taking a keen interest in the sport and swimming on a more regular basis. I joined the Water Polo section when I was 13, played in the junior section up until I stopped at the age of 16. I re-joined the Water Polo section when I was 21 and trained with the Senior Men, where I have also represented the team locally and in the BWPL National league.

“We have a strong focus on technique to give our junior swimmers the best long term potential possible. I believe we need to try and make our swimmers stand out and set them apart from the rest – a combination of fast and skilful swimming is hard to come by.”
