Lee Toone

Water Polo Head Coach

I followed my sister into the club at the age of 4, I believe our parents introduced us to the sport of swimming because they believed it was a vital life skill. Shortly after joining and coming through the clubs LTS sections I then joined the swim team and enjoyed many years competing up to national club team champs.

At the age of 8 I started my water polo development with the junior boy’s section at Tyldesley. At junior level I represented North of England and Lancashire from age 15yrs to 18yrs

I am currently Head Water Polo Coach at TSWPC, specifically coaching our Senior Ladies Team.

“My goal is to produce athletes at all levels, as a provider club we have succeeded in raising some phenomenal Water Polo player & Swimmers.  Many of whom have gone on to represent their country in major competitions”

L2 waterpolo coach

L2 team manager

1988 Tyldesley men entered the national water polo league which I enjoyed 10 years as part of the team .
2002 started to teach the learn to swim section of the club in the beginners stage.
2006 as Adam (my son) joined the water polo section I switched from swim teaching to Waterpolo coaching, qualified L1 and L2 in this time and helped to develop the specific squads. Because I love the sport, I rejoined our senior mens squad and have enjoyed many more years of training and competing locally and in their National league squad.
