Paige Evans

Lifeguard & Coach

Paige joined the club around 10 years ago knowing nothing about Water Polo. By taking part in our 30 minute taster session, Paige then started training almost every night! Participating in swimming galas and junior polo tournaments brought great opportunities. Being part of a team of close-knit girls has allowed her to share some great memories, from first selection onto the north-west team right through to her first ever England training camp.

Thanks to the club, Paige has gained her level one swim coach qualification and NPLQ as well as taking part in courses offered by the club. As a thank you I volunteer at the club both lifeguarding and coaching younger children as I see it as a way to share my passion for the sport.

“Hard work pays off! Thanks to this I have travelled, made friends for life and developed key skills that will carry me through life..”

Personal Interests

Alongside Water Polo I am a black belt in karate and due to being 1 of 3 sisters that are all involved in the club means very little time is spent away from the pool which made it difficult to continue. Coming from a large sporting family, you learn to become a fan of many other sports including rugby, football and F1 racing.
